The "No-Guilt" Block
The Win: If you have to go to the pharmacy or the grocery store, take the "scenic route" back—even if it only adds three minutes to your trip. Or.... Make it a longer errand. Grab a cup of coffee and find someplace nice to sip that coffee and look at the world around you. Look for one thing you’ve never noticed before: a specific tree, a strangely colored door, or a bird you can't name.
Why it works: It turns a survival errand into a tiny expedition. It reintroduces the idea of discovery into a life that has become overly focused on maintenance.
Meal Ideas:
Breakfast: Shakshuka with Feta Cheese. A warm, one-pan Mediterranean classic featuring eggs poached in a spiced tomato and pepper sauce. Topped with tangy Feta cheese, it’s a high-protein, "low-mess"

--If time permits, add a salad
--- I make extra on the Quinoa and use it for future meals. The next morning I make a quinoa breakfast porridge with walnuts, banana, cinnamon and a touch of maple syrup.
---I use the rest of the quinoa to make a side for the next nights dinner as well such as a quinoa tabouleh salad- perhaps an entire Lebanese dinner.
When I grocery shop I block my meals by region/theme so all the ingredients work together for the week. this reduces prep-work and waste |
