Their stated goal is to provide access to research, education, rehabilitation, therapeutic and advocacy services to individuals with aphasia and their caregivers. The NAA acts as a syndicate of resources, promoting a sense of community among individuals and caregivers.
ARC’s mission is to end the isolation of aphasia by connecting families who are on the same journey. Throughout the years, ARC has grown to become a community of thousands of families who connect online and at aphasia events.
Through direct service, research, education, and training, the Aphasia Institute has pioneered programs and practices which help people with aphasia learn how to communicate in new ways and begin to navigate their own lives again.
